Since my initial years, I hoped to do things for the betterment of society and I firmly believed that knowledge and money would help in achieving the same. With that goal in mind, I did my MBA Finance and started my journey in the corporate, working as a Finance and Operations consultant for Microsoft ERP systems. Despite the tremendous growth, I didn’t find my job fulfilling and decided to explore different options. Working with my younger cousin on her school assignments and projects made me realize my passion for shaping young minds. It also made me realize that our education system focuses on rote learning rather than engaging. So, when I got an opportunity to work in an organization focusing on experiential/hands-on learning, I seized it. I researched and curated lesson plans that included games and activities that would make learning easier, fun and more interesting. I used those along with the ethos of the corporate to teach children more comprehensively.
Joining Suknit has given me an opportunity to create more concepts and content that will help children learn better and faster. I am excited to contribute my bit to society and learn along the way.

From my growing up years, I decided to become someone who loves presenting. I always wanted to become a teacher. After completing my masters in Commerce (M.Com) in one of the premier instituition of North India. I got placed as Assistant Professor in that college. Teaching at a college where I was a student was such a rewarding experience but deep inside I felt I am not doing my soul’s work. Then my life took a different turn, I decided to pursue Bachelor of Education. During my B.Ed internship, I enjoyed being around school students. I also completed by UGC in Education in first attempt while pursuing my Masters in Education. Psychology was my favourite subject during my M.Ed .I found child behaviour theories to be very interesting .
I am also a certified phonics trainer. And I am a NLP sub-practitioner as well. I successfully completed my NLP Training in the Art and Science of Neuro Linguistic Programming under NLP India.
After becoming a mother, I realised that child’s behaviour has a strong impact on his social, emotional and cognitive development. While nurturing my own child, I got wonderful opportunity to be part of Suknit team. I am passionate about Suknit’s purpose that is creating a nurtured and conducive environment for child’s overall development.
